What is a network marketing based business?

A network marketing based business is a business that depends upon direct face-to-face sales of product and services. Rather than distributing or selling the products in a store, they are sold through a network of individuals. Most network marketing based business operate from someone's home, and they provide the network marketer with almost unlimited opportunities for freedom and success.

A key element of a network marketing based business is recruiting others to sell the products and services. You begin by becoming part of someone else's business. You
have then entered their down-line.

 A down-line is comprised of individuals who are starting up their own network marketing structure. The network structure grows as more and more individuals join the network marketer's down-line.

 As the network business grows profits increase as each member of the down-line receives a commission on products sold by the members in their organizations.

Therefore, the goal of a network marketing business is two-fold. The first goal is to sell the companies' product or services. The second goal is to recruit others to also sell the products.

The virtues of network marketing are as unique as the concept itself. You are your own boss, you work from home, you set your own goals and objectives.

You determine how much work you want to do and how many hours you want to spend doing it. You determine what yardstick to measure your success by, and unlike working for someone else you reap the rewards of your efforts.
